The Black Stepping Stone

Once you know what vision you have for your own life, you can see how that vision fits in with your family life, work/school/volunteer life, and community life. This is where the five habits I wrote about in Inspired Vision, Inspired Life can come in.

In addition to that it is also good to understand how the vision you have for your own life fits in with (or collides with) all other aspects of your life.  As you begin having conversations on how each area can match, blend, and fit visions together (by opening up the lines of communication) it is also good to consider:

  • Your individual household’s vision for their own life as well as for the shared aspects of household living.
  • Your work, school, and volunteer organization’s vision for themselves.
  • And your overall communities vision for itself.
