March 29th

Out to dinner
with a friend
conversation becomes
unhinged.

Across the street,
Bach unplugged.
She knocks on locked doors,
and Nazar answers.

“Can we come in?”
He is hesitant,
yet,
she pushes politely past.

To the tone of marimba melodies,
Suite No.1 in G Major,
A friend of the musicians asks,
“Are you residents?
please take a seat.”

Nazar gets up to play.
Fingers fly.
Bow serenades strings
which capture summer sparrow songs
and turn the paintings behind
into Fantasia,
Suite No. 6 in D Major.

Conversation
afterwards
continues.

As the night becomes
unhinged,
new friends and experiences
are made.
